October 21, Perfect Example of the Dumbing Down of Society. This has to be one of the worst television shows in the history of American television. This piece of garbage caters to people who get pleasure on the misery of others and it makes "Fear Factor" look like quality television. It is pretty disgusting to me how people will let out their dirty laundry in public just to get their fifteen minutes of fame.

It just is another example of how people will do anything to get on television. It also is pretty disturbing to see the lengths this show would go to just for ratings and no show pointed it out like the episode in which one of the staff got stabbed. I can't see how supposedly intelligent people look at garbage like this. This show pretty much shows how much America has been "dumbed down". I hope that this is the bottoming of American television, because after this it has nowhere else to go but up.

What's even more is that there aren't any records indicating that a legitimate EMS ambulance was called to cart Joey away for his injuries either.

Despite the fact that the producers of the show maintained the veracity of Cheaters, as does host Joey Greco, there really doesn't seem to be any evidence to solidify that the program was real. Greco declined to appear in an interview about the truth of the program with investigative reporter Matt Meagher, stating that he legally could not. So is Cheaters scripted? Well, while no one will admit it, I'd just apply the same logic to catching a cheater.
